Our company was founded on the connection between cuisine and culture and the power that the cooking experience has by bringing people of different backgrounds together. Through travel, we work to elevate artisans. We've found that poverty-stricken people in developing nations are often among the most talented.
With the inability to travel due to present circumstances, Acanela hopes to continue doing what we can to connect international cuisine and culture despite the lack of in-person interaction.
Through small-group cooking classes, we hope to connect travelers around the world with some of the local artisans we've grown to love and admire. Though the experience may be different, the impact felt on both sides is very much the same.
